2015 Dutch Star vs 2014 Mountain Aire
We are considering trading our 2009 Dutch Aire for a 2015 Dutch Star or a 2014 Mountain Aire. Sales people tells us that the 2015 DS is better and nicer than the 2014 MA We know Newmar did a lot changes for 2015 Thanks for any information

Interesting question. Since the 15 DS now has features that were on the 14 MA, take your pick. Personally, I'd go for the DS.
With the DS bumped a notch and the introduction of the London Aire, that part of the neighborhood is getting confusing, to say the least.
Of course, timeframe for acquisition may effect your decision as well as what you want to be seen driving. Is it possible to go wrong with either?

The new DSDP will have a factory warranty also.
I always like the latest and greatest features, options, etc. on a new MH.

If the sales force is working in a commission driven environment, too often that can effect what they tell you. Good luck with your new MH!

the factory warranty can be one great big headache. you buy from a salesperson and as soon as the check is written you are at the mercy of the service center.

Attached is a spreadsheet sent to me by a dealer that details some of the 2015 specs. You can use that to compare to the 2014 specs that are on Newmar's web site. There are also pics of the 2015's on YouTube.
Good Luck and have fun with your search!!

It's interesting that the DSDP is highline now with a base price of $420K. My 2007 DSDP had a base price of $256K.

Hi Deek,
Pages 2 and 3 were blank on the copy I received as well. I will see both the dealer and Ken from Newmar at the Denver RV show/sale today and will ask them if those pages were intentionally blank.

Great info on that spreadsheet. One thing puzzles me...I thought someone here confirmed several models were now equipped with larger black/gray tanks. This sheet doesn't seem to indicate any of these changes.
