I am having trouble with my water system selector for (auto fill) (manual fill)
2015 KA- When I hook to city water and select either auto or manual fill the water flow is very very slow. it seems to help when I turn the pump on but still slow. Also the selector appears to only work when the pointer is in-between the position it is suppose to be pointing to.

Two things come to mind- do you have a pressure regulator installed on your fresh water fill hose? Many of the cheap ones only have a 3/8" opening which greatly restricts the GPM. If you feel you need one - buy a good brass one with 1/2" diameter opening. How old is your outside water filter on your fresh water system? Remove it & don't replace it & see if your flow rate increases. If it does - put a new filter in & see how well it works.
When the selector is in manual or auto fill the filling of the water tank takes priority. If selector is on auto fill it will stop filling the tank when the tank is full and will keep it full as any water is used from the tank. In manual mode the tank will overflow when full. When you need water when the tank is filling use the water pump.

I spoke with a service tech at my local Newmar dealership. He has indicated there may be a piece of plastic or debris that has found it's way into the valve either during manufacturing or after. This is a possibility,,,,,,,,007 any thoughts??
Huntnjim one thing that we have encountered lately is really poor water pressure at many parks and resorts. We are all warned about high pressure damaging the plumbing but lately ( last 8 parks) we have seen pressures between 20 and 40psi.
With low pressures my tank ( on auto fill) will only fill to 80+ gal.
Debris could be the issue but supply water pressure may be the other.

The city water valve connection has a small pet cock inside if it has turned for some reason from its set position on spring its normally set on it will plug the opening and maybe causing back pressure into the filling hose and may blow back at you if you have a quick connect fitting.
You need to remove the screen washer to see it, when you winterize you may push it in to back fill antifreeze from the in house water filter because if you do not that short piece of piping has fresh water in it to freeze in winter.
If you do not see a smooth ball looking at you the pet cock has turned.
You may try to reseat the thing but spring behind it will fight you.
I just removed it and placed a blow out plug in fitting when using the fresh water tank and pump while traveling.
When you hook up hose make sure you release water pump pressure before removing the plug or you will get a early shower.
You hook up city water line will just pass the water right through for you with your valve set to city and will fill fresh water tank before you leave and put plug back in place.
OR YOU CAN BUY A NEW WATER VALVE AND MAYBE DO THIS ALL OVER AGAIN.
