2015 LED ceiling lights

We have owned our new coach for 2 weeks. Already 2 of the LED lights are not working and several others are showing reduced light output. I removed the cover on one and found only 3 of the 9 LED's emitting light. Obviously I am going to get them fixed under warranty but I was wondering if my situation is unique or are other coaches having similar problems?

Ours have been running for a year with no issues. It sounds like you got a bad batch of lights.

Hmm, not promising since our coaches were built around the same time.

I've had issues in the past with LED's myself. I bought a bad batch for my current MH that had the same issue, LED's failing at an alarming rate. Manufacturer replaced them and all was well.

No issues with the small round LED fixtures in the ceiling throughout our 2014 we have had for 14 months.

I wonder. Have you actually removed the glass dome and counted the number of LED's that are working? There should be 9 in groups of 3. If 6 are working the light output is reduced but may not be noticeable. I have several 6's and a few 3's and still some 9's. Actually this all started because we find the lights over the bed too bright and I contacted ITC about suitable dimmers (there are 2). Then I noticed some were less bright and so it went. The lights have a 3 year warranty so we should be OK.

That's exactly how one batch of LEDs I bought for the current MH went out. I also noticed that the ones failing got very hot, even turing black in some cases. Once the manufacturer replaced them, all has been well for almost a year now.

I would insist that all of the identical 9 LED bulbs be replaced.
