2015 Newmar Baystar Model 3401

It states on website MSRP $144,650.00, on sale now for $109,000.00. Were going to test drive it tomorrow. I hope I can talk them down some since 2015 is coming near an end. Any advice is welcome. We have pets, are there any RV motorhome resorts, anyone recommends in Florida. We want to visit Naples, Florida

I think if you can get them down to between 105K and 107k you will be in the ball park of a 27%-28% discount which would be very good. They are not too worried about the 2016's coming out as they are slow to arrive and they really don't have to go crazy on the 2015 discounts until the end of October ish. The 109k price is just a little under 25% off which is still a good deal but they will do better if you push them a little and are ready to buy and have a loan approved or can pay cash. Good luck you can't go wrong either way as you are buying a quality MH.

I've had my Baystar for 7 years. I go out in it on 2 month trips at least once a year and do several weeks at Fort Wilderness several times a year. It has 30,000 miles on it. My Baystar was the first year they made them. All of the things I didn't like about my Baystar have been fixed on your model year. Full body paint, Corian countertops, more rugged front grill and the new ford chassis with the 22.5inch wheels. Buy it and enjoy the adventure. It has never left me stranded or stuck. Just insist on the dealer spending some time with you learning how to operate all of the systems. If you tell me the new units have a fiberglass roof I might have to trade mine in on a new one.

Bay star interior height

Have considered the BS but am concerned despite the excellent floor plan because it has the shortest interior height--2" less than our Class C and 4" less than the CS. For those of you who have one, has this bothered you at all over the long term?

They are asking $109,000. MSRP is $144,000.00. We test drove it and he knocked the price down to $100,000.00 Thanks

I'be only spent a couple weeks in our new Bay Star, but I can say I never even noticed the ceiling height, and I am 6-2.

Overall, I continue to be impressed by the quality. For example, the tech who installed seat belts in the dinette was worried there might not be enough structure under the floors to bolt them in properly. Instead, he found 3/4 plywood which was way more solid than he was used to seeing. It's those little things we would never even notice...

I concur with Vacay, I've had mine a whopping day, so far and I continue to be impressed with the attention to detail. The lift sconces are glass, not acrylic. The fittings and joints on cabinets are true and square. The ceiling kind of sealed the deal for me, I like the solid structure. It is well insulated and feels well constructed. The tiles on the floor are "individually placed, and they provide spares. It's the little things that you'll continue to discover and appreciate your purchase all the more. I'm 6' even, no issues.
I am totally pleased with my acquisition. For my .02, you should pull the trigger.

We have the 2014 BS 3103. I am 6'4" and have never noticed the ceiling. The only Time that I did notice it was in the shower. My head wasn't up in the skylight, but it was close. That being said, the Bay Star should not pose any problems for the vertically gifted..... unless your name is Shaquille or LeBron, and then all bets are off.

msrp discount

There is another whole topic on "Tom Lindstrom RV", but all the discussion about if/where to buy in this, topic makes me want to share here. Read that forum topic, and then give Tom Lindstrom RV a call. Newmar is a fabulous coach, and Tom is an honest dealer. Cant beat that combination.

Smile We purchased the 2015 Newmar Baystar, 3401

I want to thank you all for your advice on the Newmar Motor Coach. Because of your advice and youtube showing how the Newmar is well built. We bought a 2015 Baystar model 3401 yesterday. We talked the salesman down to $100,000.00. It has everything we want in a motor home. We also purchased the XtraRide Platinum Coverage. We pick it up next Thursday at the dealership in Chesapeake, Virginia. We are excited to get it and start traveling and seeing the beautiful sights our country has to offer.
