2015 Newmar Baystar

An RV dealer has 2015 Newmar Baystars for sale. Has anyone owned one of these or heard good or bad things about them. Were still looking. They are asking $109,000. Fully loaded, gas, 33 or 34 ft. King size bed, corian counter tops, really nice. But were not familiar with Newmar. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Newmar is one of the best built motor homes in the industry. Quality abounds throughout. The Baystar is a great coach and I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Agreed! We've had two Dutch Stars and almost wish we had gotten another instead of the Magna.

You can't go wrong with a Newmar. When we bought ours we went back and forth between the Baystar 3301/3401 and the Canyon Star 3610 we bought. We love ours and the bath and a half really is nice to have. We really liked the Baystar with opposing slides. The deciding factor for us came down to I wanted the bigger chassis with the 22.5 tires, and the 2014 Baystars only came with the 19.5 tires. The 2015 Baystar's are really nice and they are now on the bigger chassis with 22.5 tires which will really make a difference in the ride and storage capacity.

The Newmar quality is great and well worth the extra money you will spend over a less quality brand. When you are at this price point to start with a few thousand extra for quality is well worth it. Go look at some of the other manufactures that are in the same price point and what kind of quality you get for just a few thousand less, you will be shocked at how much more you are getting for your money with a Newmar.

So far we have driven ours about 10,000 miles and over 100 nights camping in it with it just needing a few adjustments and never having to stay at the dealer overnight. You won't be disappointed with a Newmar, and you may be able to get that price down to $105-107K with a little more negotiating. Good luck with your decision.

We have the 2903 Baystar and are very happy with it. We have had 3 other MH's and this is a keeper for us. We like the full wall slide, dual A/C, roomy shower etc. Just 2 of us and the dog so the size is perfect for places we want to go and you can't beat the comfort and quality of a Newmar!!

Thank you all for the replies. We are going to set up a time to test drive it. This is the only coach that I have found that I really like. It has the beautiful cherry cabinets with corian counter tops, Flat screen TV with fireplace. I really like the king size bed. Beautiful wood trim in cherry. The leather couch looks comfortable. We went there but they were closed so we got to go back when they are open.

From what I've seen here you should be able to buy it for 20-28% off msrp. If they won't go that low, try other dealers.

If the 2015 Bay Star has all the bells and whistles, that $109,000 is already probably discounted 20/25% from original MSRP. Because it's a 2015, and "old stock," you may be able to squeeze a couple more per cent out of the dealer.

With hard bargaining, we were recently able to get a 28% discount on our factory ordered Bay Star.

Good luck with your deal.

What model are you looking at? Im also looking at a Newmar 3124 and 3401 models. They have the 3401 priced at $119k. Im hoping to get them lower but not sure if thats there bottom dollar or not. Its about a 20% discount.

2015 Newmar Baystar

I am a new Bay Star owner, did my homework and the 3401 has everything we wanted and then some. Ours is TOTALLY loaded! I was leaning toward the Ventana, but I am a complete Newb, and was going to buy my 5th MH first ️. I did a personal assessment and realized this (Bay Star 3401), is my Dream Coach.
Which model was the one you mentioned? Good luck, I'm happy with the sale, the Quality and my decision.

Here is a Brochure and Owners Guide for 2015 BS.
Here is a Newmar PDI list also.
Good luck and maybe a welcome to the Newmar family is in your future.

Thanks Mr Bond . I am sure you've gotten that one a million times. I was actually looking for those docs, still learning my way around here.
Thanks again. I am enjoying iRV2, lots of experience here.

What is the MSRP of the coach? I'm sure some here could give advice on the price the dealer is asking.
