Something is not right. Our order is a mix of MA, LA, Essex, & King A. Lots of customs. The only denied was a CAT6 cable since they only use CAT5 which was no problem. Dealer passed charges on at cost.

Same here. I have not have any decor items denied other then changing the graphics. Would you please list the denied items?

We are trying to order the entire Hemlock decor group from the Mountain Aire.

We tried that with a color scheme from the Dutch Star but were denied. The reason given was that the sofa color was unique to the Villa furniture and we could not upgrade from the Flexsteel used in the Ventana. We ended up with a mixture of color schemes within the Ventana range at no charge, so we are happy.

As Algoma wrote, Newmar will maintain product differentiation, so some parts of the decor group will not be available. You can order the fabrics, wall paper, counter tops, chairs, carpet, tile etc. but probably not the entire decor group. Call Michelle Howard at Newmar to discuss what parts of the group is available to you for upgrade.

We ordered a DS 4018 first of November from North Trail RV in Ft Myers FL. It is due in mid April. It will make for a long winter. We have already traded in our old unit so no camping until April.

Welcome to the gang! Congrats on your DS. Have you made changes? 4018 is a great floor plan. I agree about the long winter. We ordered in Sept. and still waiting for a delivery date. Waiting.......not one of my strong points!

So I read the 2015 Owner's Manual and to be honest it is about as useless as the one I have for my Alpine Coach. I feel sorry for anyone new to motorhomes if this is their only source of reference.
I am assuming each new coach comes with all the user manuals but could someone tell me if there is more than that. Do you get a full electric schematic? A diagram of where switches, fuses, breakers are hidden? How things like the AGS, inverter/charger have been programmed etc? Or do I need to request these before delivery?

Newmar just told us our DutchStar 4018 will be on the line the 3rd week of Jan.
They suggested Jan 23 would be a good day to visit the factory and see it being built.
That day is a Friday. Is one day enough?
13 hour round trip....I was hoping to spend at least 2 days.

Plenty of things to do in Newmar County for weekend stay than visit Monday for continued tour of your coach.
People stay at Amish Acres next door to plant.

We did opt for tile and counter tops from London Air and Essex. We modified the over head cabinet on driver side to run straight back. We also ordered double sink, the two recliners and special paint. I am glad you are about to get yours, it is hard to wait.

We've managed to stay out of the cold so far Raymond. Have done the delivery indoors in a nice warm environment. I'll post a delivery review in a few days, still busy today, but have to say the delivery experience with Coachlight has been excellent, exceeded my expectations. The PDI was thorough and their delivery tech is very knowledgeable and experienced. A+ so far.
