Hi Newmar 14,
Does the pitch/volume change with engine RPM? The high pitched noise may be from the alternator. If true, replacement of the alternator is the solution. There are filters that can be placed on the power lines for the radio. Sometime they work and sometimes they don't.

We have the 2014 and also have over 200 days use with no issues related to seats or high pitched noise from the radio with engine running. I would doubt a brand new unit would need a new alternator, it might just have something not hooked up to stop the interference.

On the Radio noise a couple of things. First you said that the whine was there when the Radio is on and the Engine is running. Does the whine or noise exist when the Engine is shut off and the Radio on.

Also if you start the engine and then increase the RPM of the engine in neutral does the intensity or pitch of the noise increase? If so it is most likely engine related.

If the noise goes away when the Engine is shut off then it definitely is Engine electrical related. Could be the Alternator, or the Ignition. If it is the Alternator then it will need the control module replaced, if the module is integrated then the whole Alternator needs to be swapped out. Ignition related stuff can be a bit more tricky. But essentially they would have to determine if the cause is a bad spark-plug wire, the electronic Ignition module etc.

It needs to be checked by Ford. If they say all is well with the Engine systems then you may have to put a choke on the input side of the Radio. Either on the power or antenna input.
