2016 Dutch Star 4369 floor level but both slides seriously out of level

I have noticed that the full wall HWH flush floor slide new for 2016 drops approximately 3/4 of an inch from the rubber gasket strip to where the floor meets the outside wall when a level is placed there. I'm going in to the dealer so they can look at it and at least record it on record for if they ever get a fix. I've been told they all are like that and all do it.

Tonight my wife brought to my attention when she is cooking the pot or pan wants to slide off the induction cooktop and all the liquid goes to the wall side of the pan. I put a circle bubble level on the main floor and then on the induction cooktop. The kitchen slide or counter top is seriously out of level.

Never thought of bringing a level to a PDI but it's something I suggest.

I would be really unhappy with that, especially on a nice coach like the Dutch star

Believe this being discussed on the changes for 2017 thread as well. Hard to believe they would design something like that and I wouldn't be happy at all after shelling out that kind of money for a new ds. Hope they can get it worked out for yoy

Do you know the production date of your DS? Months ago, last year, or recently? The reason I ask is, I'm hoping they've incorporated a running change in production, although I've heard nothing that would suggest that.

We're scheduled to take delivery of our LA next month, it came out of production two just two weeks ago.

I will be taking a level to our PDI.

Thought I read on this Forum that Newmar/HWH discovered the cable pulleys required shimming to level the floor?!? Sorry, not having an affected unit I didn't pay close attention to the post... But, I thought it was tied into the front axel weight issue posts.

We took delivery of our 16 DS during sept of 15. From what I've read and have been told there is no fix or adjustments for the full wall slide. I am taking the coach in on the recommendation of the vendor rep for the kitchen slide due to a one time failure to retract. Will definitely be asking about the level discrepancies

I've not done a search but I'm almost certain someone reported, sometime ago, that Newmar had come up with a plan, as of that reporting it was theoretical only.

Guess I'll find out soon.

We have the HWH hydraulic flush floor slide and it sits level when out. Maybe it's a different mechanism than what Newmar is using?

It is the same as what you have.
