2016 Newmar 2702 slide drive problem

2016 Newmar 2702 slide drive problem.

Brought in driver side slide and as it seated there was a loud bang from below.
Slide was in all the way, nothing was blocking it.
Looked at the “drive shaft” as it passed through compartments. Shaft was clear from one end to the other but the “plate or “bracket” that appears to hold the motor in place was torn and twisted. Motor bolts seemed to be in place. The metal of the bracket is not very heavy.
Looking for another 2702 owner who might take a look at an intact bracket and let me know what it looks like. The bracket is welded in place and twisted. Not a bolt and replace job for sure.
Thanks any info
I have pictures but need to find out how to post.

In this link you will see slide info with many different brackets broken, will require replacement, Newmar may even send you a new heavier one if called.

Have appointment for evaluation of the problem on Oct 4.

There are tons of posts on this issue for slide motor and brackets cracking.

Just had same EXACT problem on a 2015 DS4312 two weeks ago on passenger front slide, $4,000.00 for repairs. Everything they replaced seems much higher quality and beefier motor, etc.
