You don't indicate what options it has, but at the original MSRP it probably had a "medium" amount of options. NADA - with only a few options lists a 2016 3710 as $117-$141k for low to average retail. Looking at RV trader, the ones currently listed are a few thousand on either side of $135k. So seems like you are in the ball park, but, but not enough information to say if it is an fair deal or has some more room to come down.

You want to be on the lower end of retail.. I would think you could get a new one for not to much more$$$...

Here's a new leftover from where I'm getting mine from and I'm sure they would love to sell it... If you need a salesman over there let me know I'm trying to score some brownie points... lol

The 117 is the fair price. This is a 3 year old coach. No one wants to pay more than low retail. If you are willing to pay more it might be because you or the DW are in love with that coach, you need to buy something right now, you've looked and looked and you're exhausted, or some other reason. If you keep the coach for a long time, like 10 years, the extra 18k will be a bit diluted, but 10% over low retail, at least in my book, is too much. You are asking the forum, so you must have some gut feeling about it too.

I would think the one I just posted from north trail you should be able to get the new one for just under what they want for the used one...

Thanks for input This 2016 Canyon Star has a list of $ 159,096 and options of $ 23,890 for a total list of $ 182,986
----------------
It has about 8000 miles on it and is being offered by a dealer not private.
It is a small Newmar dealer and it's his only 3710 Canyon Star.

Is the dealer on the US side of the border? If so, and if you intend to import the vehicle to Canada, have you checked on the import requirements? You will have to pay GST at the time of importation on the US purchase price. Within 60 days I think it is you will need to have the vehicle converted to Canadian standards if it isn't already certified.
While living in Niagara Falls, Ontario, we bought our 2015 Canyon Star in NY State in 2016 with the intention of storing it on the US side with temporary in-transit registration, and we then used it to live in with our cats while we traveled to Phoenix AZ. We registered it in Texas enroute where we had joined The Escapees RV Club and set up a domicile address with them.
Our toad is a 2016 Toyota Yaris purchased in Canada and which we had the US RV dealer set up for towing. We then imported the car to Arizona and registered it there with a letter of conformity from Toyota Canada.
As for fair price, I would strongly suggest you run the deal by David Lester in the Facebook Group RV Pricing and Values. One just like it with 8,000 miles sold in Palm Springs CA - asking price was $130,000. Good hunting!

Tom Lindstrom RV in Moorpark Ca, has a 2016 Canyon Star 3710 with 6500 miles on it for $129,999. Tom is a stand up guy and will only sell MH's in the best condition. It's worth a call to him. My guess is that someone originally bought it from Tom and traded it in as a lot of his business is from repeat customers.

I bought a used 2016, 3710 with 9000 miles and a few extras, last January. It still had 4 months Newmar warranty on it . The dealer went over the unit and addressed everything that I had a concern about , including replacing a cracked windshield. Price was 135,000.
I think it was a fair deal and we love the coach.
