2016 Newmar Deliveries Thread

DW and I are heading up to Newmar the end of next week to pick up/pdi our new 2016 DS 4018 on 8/17. I can't wait to see it in person as I did not have an opportunity to see it being built. In the meantime, Devon Miller sent me these three pictures of our MH.

Gorgeous. 4018 Our favorite floor plan. Same as our Ventana 4037.

We chose the same exterior color in our 4018. We saw other units with the Cannes exterior during the factory tours we took the last week in July. They really look good. We chose the Prism interior except we changed all of the fabrics to Mountaine Aire fabrics (pillows, window valances, dinette chairs and bedspread).

I can imagine how excited you are to take delivery because Angel and I share in that excitement in waiting for our Factory Delivery starting 9/14. Any comments or recommendations you have after your delivery would be appreciated.

Newmarpusher, the Ventana 4037 is also a very nice DP. Did you stay with the opposing couch layout or choose the optional fireplace/TV desk? A couple years ago when we were making a final decision on Manufacturer/Model it was a Ventana that sold us on Newmar.

Allen,

We went with the Cordova interior but DW changed out the solid surfaces to one from the Mountain Aire. She also decided she liked the headboard from the London Aire better so we had that switched out as well. Love the fact that Newmar lets us tweak these motorhomes as we and many others have done.

I will try to come back here and post my impressions of the delivery, as well as, my thoughts on the new features for 2016. Expect a lot of "Ooh's", "Aah's", and "Wow!".

Congrats on your new coach. It looks fantastic and I know you are excited. I'm glad you finally got some pics. We drove to all the lots where customer service said it should be but just couldn't find it. It must have been inside being prepped for delivery. I will send you a PM and maybe you could try to find our Ventana when you get there. Time permitting of course as you will be busy! It should be out of paint by then and stored somewhere till we take delivery. It would be great to see it once they paint it. It's killing us waiting till October 12th.

Ours was about four months from order to delivery.

Four months for us too....ordered mid-May, delivery mid-September.

We have the door side couch/sleeper/televator and the street side dual recliners. We went back and forth between that and the door side L-sofa and the street side recliner/fireplace TV. It's awesome that Newmar has so many variations on every floor plan.

This is our dream coach and hopefully our last after going through 4 MH's over the years. Like everyone that purchases a MH we are very happy and it will be hard waiting for delivery. We like all the floor plans but the one that works best for us is the same as we have in our Ventana, the 4369.

Oh the wait is already getting long.
