2016 Ventana LE 4044

Picking up 2016 Ventana LE 4044 next week from Tom Johnson Marion, NC. Up grade from 2015 Canyon Star 3610. DW drove and loves it over gasser. Many options and up grades. They want us to get extended warranty at time of purchase said it will be cheaper have not done any research on price difference. With 1year warranty do we need extended warranty at time of purchase?

I would pass on it.

Our coach has been so trouble free it's almost a crime!!

We had 2 minor items taken care of under the first year warranty.

That's why we bought a Newmar.

The dealer tried every hardsell tactic under the sun to get us to pay $7500, then $5500 on the day we took it home.

Put that money aside for the future.

When asking about an extended warranty I was also told by a dealer that the warranty would begin at time of sale, of course this would overlap the factory warranty for the first year. So I buy a three year warranty and get the benefit of a two year warranty. They could have said two year warranty and charged me the same I would have felt better, lol

Am I missing something here?

I never had a warranty, put warranty money aside for future use if needed.
