2016 Ventana Tow connector wiring
Do anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for the 2016 Ventana 3427 tow connector? Where the fuses are for each of the wires? What would be really useful is a complete wiring diagram for the rig, anyone know if such is available to owners?
Thanks
J Sadler

On our two DSDP's the diagram of the plug was in the owners manual. Usually the hot wire is not wired though.
I'd say the plug wiring is industry standard. It was on both the DSDP's we ordered.

I know that the plug is "standard" but some of it does go up to the front dash (the blue wire on the connector) but I'd like to find a complete diagram to see where the Ignition wire goes to and it's fuse. Along with the rest of the wiring.
I do have electrical experience and it's frustrating to trace wires when you do have a schematic/diagram it's 100x worse without one especially on a rig like this.

We never did get a true wiring diagram for the DSDP's. The wires themselves are marked every foot or so on the insulation. Newmar is "good" at hiding fuses inline just like CC hides them behind panels that I have to remove to find them. But at least I did get full diagrams except for one whole slideout that I'm missing.

F4-1 on one of the Freightliner boxes in the bay under the drivers seat is labeled 30A for trailer brakes. I believe freightliner leaves the other wires bundled and tied to the other bundles on the steering column.

You are talking about chassis wiring which is provided by Freightliner, not Newmar. All wiring schematics are available on the Freightliner website once you have registered. The 12v charge line on the 7-pin connector is active with the ignition on.

I've filled out the form, so I'll see what happens. Thanks for the pointer.

Algoma
thanks for the pointers, was able to sign up and get access. Ran into a roadblock as the many/most of the files are CGM files and their site requires a CGM plugin to display the drawings in a browser. But they only support IE and XP or later. I'm on a Mac and there isn't a CGM plugin for Firefox or Safari. I use GraphicConverter to read the CGM files, but I had to pull the URL out of the webpage source code.
Anyway I have the drawing and the info I was looking for!
Thanks again.

I know the problem. I use Firefox on Windows 10 and have to remember to switch to IE when I go to the Freightliner site. Glad you got there in the end.
