2018 Baystar In Dash Nav Standby Mode

Question - Not sure its unique to my Baystar. The in dash entertainment systems (Sony) that has my Nav/Sirius/AM/FM display won't turn off.

The system is powered by the coach 12V system so, I assume, to allow the radio to be on while parked.

My issue is when I have folks sleeping in the front compartment on the fold out, the light coming from the screen is annoying at best and maddening at worst. The 'stand-by' mode may seem to be not very bright during the day but in a dark compartment it can provide more light than a night light. The stand by mode is the Newmar logo. When the power button is turned on the system boots up and screen then illuminates more.

Has anyone figured out how to disable / blacken this screen?

I know this seems trivial but given I can turn off the lights on the microwave it seems like this should be possible.

Thanks.

Do you have a remote? There's a button on it to turn the monitor off. Should also be in the option screen on the display. What model Sony radio is it?

Just stopped for evening. Sure enough, was looking on video screen and should have researched further.

Thanks to all!
