I'll be honest, not sure. But the difference is night and day. Thought we were on a trampoline over certain undulations, especially bridges. Now - calm, cool, and collected!

Thank you to all that have contributed to this thread. It has been very informative as I evaluate coaches and chassis options.

Spartan is taking a hard line on this not being warranty, but a preference, in my opinion it is unsafe as it causes a loose of control in extreme occurrences. I have made my opinions known to Spartan including a post follow up call to them noting the amazing difference, hopefully something will come of this. Still love Spartan, disappointed in their handling of this concern.

i am about to fight this fight with spartan....

spartan would not entertain this until i had the vibration fixed...now that north trail successfully took care of it, i need to get on this task....getting rid of the bounce...

i'll keep everyone posted as to the outcome...i am hopeful they (spartan) will do the right thing....

stuart i am sorry that they did not step up for you....

My 02 had Bilsteins when I got it last year. I didn't know if they were replaced before or not. Way too often on the first trip, the front porpoised, sometimes until the front bottomed out.

I replaced the fronts with Konis and night and day difference. No issues on bridges any more. Not sure if the Bilsteins were worn out, or never good or both. They did still have dampening when they were removed, so they did still have oil in them.

The drive and tag still have Bilsteins, but I haven't noticed anything objectionable to replace them.

I believe that I am having the same vibration issue. What repair resolved this issue for you?

They are $175 each and I was told by Spartan that they get one hour labor, not sure what their labor rate is. It took me 45 min on the ground with air tools.
