Baggage doors are aluminum. They will be painted too.

Now that’s funny great idea to take the “bull” by the horns.

Read through the PDI PDF in the Newmar info's sticky.

It looks pretty thorough. Does anyone have a PDI checklist other than that in case there is anything else I should be checking beyond that list?

2019 Dinettes

FYI all,

For 2019 DSDP's:

The chairs have definitely changed and table heights may have changed.

Chairs: They now sport matching ultra leather seats and complimentary fabric backs with wood tops.

Table heights: They appear to be slightly lower than 2018 based upon the relative gap between the hutch height and lower window edge. I apologize for not measuring the seat height, table top height and lower table edge from the floor. I have those for the 2018 models. This was moot information for DW and me as we've decided on the extended Euro Booth.

This may be important info for some people as I found that it was harder to get under a 2019 desk/dinette combo without smacking my thigh. The 2018 was not as restrictive but I also had problems not hitting my thigh on those dinettes. I suspect that it s a combination of having a slightly higher seat height and a slightly lower table height. For what it's worth, I recommend that all need to "slide-in" to the 2019 dinette of choice before ordering to ensure you fit without bruises.

Does the Ventana come with a 2" hitch receiver? Also, on the DS, do both the FL and Spartan chassis have the same size receiver and is it 2"?

Ok, that's what I figured, but wanted to make sure as my tow bar is 2". Thanks.

Trying to get all my ducks in a row before pickup.

OK, this wait is killing me. The last update I got from Coachlight's sales rep is that the estimated ship date was tomorrow, but then exchanging emails with a customer service person about a few questions, I asked her and she said I should expect a late August release to shipping. I hope she was just pulling an ultra conservative number out.

I think I'll check with Coachlight tomorrow (trying to avoid a daily, "are we there yet" email) if I haven't gotten an update.

Best I can tell it's been in QC for two weeks now. Is there anyway to get an accurate update/estimate on release, or when in QC it's just a matter of waiting until they release to shipping?

If I had any patience I would gladly loan you some. I feel your anxiety.

I bet it's hard waiting, especially soooo close to being done. If I remember correctly from taking plant tours, QC and final assembly is all together at building 7 after paint. I wonder if they're waiting for an awning or some small piece like that to complete your build. I know this doesn't really help but I doubt it's a major issue. Hope it's done soon. Then you can wait for delivery...sometimes 3 weeks to get it to your dealer from Nappanee after delivery company has possession.

Lovely, another potential delay. :(

Good point on the possibility of a missing part.

Got My Vin #

My dealer sent me my vin# yesterday. Does anyone know how long before it gets to the assembly line from this point?

No updated timeline, still stuck in QC. Closing in on about three weeks in QC I think (four weeks since it finished main manufacturing). I did get an update last week that they were waiting on several parts, but no estimated time frame for release?
