We are picking up at Midway. We were give a tentative date of 8/31 for delivery. I hope I didn't miss out. Chat said ours were coming down the line next to each other. Found out he is out of the office until Monday. We sent a message to our contact at Newmar to see what's up.

Chad said he was having someone take pictures for us, but haven't seen anything.

Got more info. We go to building 7 on Monday and to paint on Thursday. Maybe I'll see yours when it comes back from paint.

Isn't your coach number 1 less than mine? What chassis are you going with?

Yep 608076. I guess they don't run in exact order. Maybe some of the specials we asked for???? We are on the Freightliner. That is what I have now and have been to Camp Freightliner and have familiarity with the service schedule and love their customer service. Always there to help. We discussed the chassis selection with dealers, techs and it pretty much came down to do you like Ford or Chevy. The Freightliner has served us well, so, if it ain't broke I'm not going to fix it.

Hi redbaron73. What soundbar upgrade do you have in mind? I have a Bose soundtouch 300 at home and really like it (set your audio to dolby stereo, not atmos, sync issues, looks like a dubbed Godzilla movie)
thanks

Keep in mind that the sound bar ledge in the Dutch Star is only 24" wide. The Bose Soundtouch 300 is 38" wide.

We went with a Bose Lifestyle 650. The center speaker fits perfectly on the ledge. The 4 additional front and rear speakers were not difficult to install. But, if you go this route, have an additional electrical outlet installed in the back cabinets to power the rear speakers. The rears work by bluetooth but require their own power.

Sounds great!

Did you have the upgrade done by a shop that you would recommend or do it yourselves?

We took the tour today. Bummer that we missed you toilet special by one day.

Best of luck with the new coach!

It is great that our coach is following after lots of other folks'. Lots of specials to hit the dealer with that I didn't even know I wanted. Just like shopping at Costco...

The coach numbers are pre assigned, but do not dictate the order. Example: your dealer has 100 DS on order, for example only 607001 to 607100. And you want a 4369 on a Spartan Chassis, that maybe 607050 because your dealer has yours sold he asks that 607050 goes ahead of some of his others. I found differences of more the 100 units in my same production week.
Even more so the dealers units wouldnít be 100 sequential unit numbers so it even spreads out more.

I am planning on installing the Sonos Beam and related speakers.

Sonos Beam preview: The smart soundbar to rule them all?
