I DIDNT!! I completely forgot to ask. Plastic dip will be the way to go most likely. But thanks for reminding me.

Oh, and congrats on your long, long list of agreed specials!
They are two separate items. If I recall, I was able to negotiate the specials pricing. Specials aren’t negotiated now. Not sure if there is a standard markup in them now? I’m told there isn’t by both dealerships I’m having bid on this new build for me. Special pricing seems to be all over the map though. Items I requested on this build are cheaper than last one and some are more expensive.

I’ve amended my LONG list of specials. They get really pricey. $200 per outlet... $90 to delete clock and artwork... $135 to have Newmar NOT install bathroom hardware etc.... I can live without those specials and deal w them later myself.

As we have a lot of specials in common, I’d love to see the pricing you got back on them if you feel comfortable sharing. I’m still a little disappointed in myself for not pushing harder to get the per-special pricing. It might not have changed anything for me as we’re pretty happy with how everything turned out, but it’s always great to have that information so you can make informed choices.

I’ll be putting together a thread this evening with a bunch of photos of how all of our specials turned out.
