I thought Newmar made 200-250 Essex a year, but when I ordered my '09, the coach number was just 307 more than the one I have (an '06 I picked up 2 years ago). I hope the number picks up, as I know they are not on full schedule.

We ordered our '05 Essex 12/04 and it's 800307. The '09 I ordered last week is 800862.

I remember someone telling me at Newmar the numbering system wasn't exactly as scientific as you guys are trying to assert....

MY 2007 EXDP was 800616 by the way... the refrigerator inside the unit as of today is numero FIVE....

I guess 04/05 were great years for Essex. By the way my new coach is 861. I don't think I'm trying to assert anything, except, perhaps my concern that the fewer Essex's they make, the more nervous I get.
