Just received two new 32" wiper blades from Newmar. Couldn't find anything over 22" at parts and wall mart. Paid $65 each. Then went to Costco's Saturday and found 28" Goodyear blades that would fit close enough for $7.99 each.
Damn.

The 32" blades are much more expensive than 28", even at the same source, so it is not a fair comparison. If you want 32" blades, a good source is www.stepvanparts.com They have every style/type of wiper parts available, from motors to pantograph arms to blades and all pieces in between, such as the fluid hose. I've purchased from them before. Their price on the 32" blades is $33.56 (they sell a 28" wiper blade for $15.09). $34 for a 32" blade may seem like a lot but it is much cheaper than $65!

I wouldn't miss 4 inches on my blades, plus you have to order them. Just walk in Costco and pickum up.

I saw those blades and looked at the connection to the wiper arm. They did not look the same but could not fully examine them from outside the box. Has anyone used those wipers on a standard newmar arm and are they all compatible?

I have a couple of 28" Michelin blades from Wal*Mart I tried to use, the J-hook connection did not fit the larger arm that our 2008 Canyon Star uses (it has the one piece windshield). But Camping World sells the TV8-32 blades I need for about $33 each and I just got a $50 gift certificate (Catch: I have to visit them and they will try to convince me to buy a new coach). Guess I'll be sitting through their sales pitch in a couple of weeks!

Camping World carries 32" wiper blades. I do not remember what I paid. They are the True Vision Brand part number TV6-32.

The difference between the TV6 and the TV8 is the TV8 are the J-Hook and the TV6 are bolted. You can get 32" in either style. It seems that around 2008 Newmar switched to the J-Hook style, at least for their Canyon Star and Bay Star coaches. Maybe this was coincident with switching to one-piece windshields, as our 2008 has one piece and the 2007 had two piece.

My 32 inch blades on Dutch Star 2006 are bolted - one of the windshield washer tube covers is half gone because of the sun - are these covers available in general or just at Newmar Parts ?
Thanks !

Mine came loose. I just wire tied and siliconed them back on. I wouldn't go back with the original setup. See if you can find a universal nozzel and black wire tye it to the arm.

Do not like wires outside the MH but your idea came to my mind - would still like to keep it original as much as possible - this plastic cover just serves to protect (I guess) the windshiel washer tubing........

I have the same problem with my 2006. The last time my dealer checked for the U-shaped plastic pieces he was told it's not available separately, you have to purchase the whole wiper arms but that was a year or so ago. If that's the case then the wire ties look pretty good!
