I've replaced the 26" original TV with a 40" today. What an amazing improvement.

The Becks had previously done this and when I saw their installation, I just had to do the same.

So Dirk,

I too want a 40" TV. I'm curious how you mounted it?

I had a custom bracket made which is screwed to the cabinet.

The TV sits in front of the existing cabinet and the bracket is the only thing inside the cabinet.

Hi Dirk,

TV looks good. Looks very familiar. To whomever said wear your helmet when you go in & out.....that is not required. It only drops about 2 1/2 inches below the finished cabinet and actually does not interfere with the entry or getting out of either seat. I have banged into it on occasion when doing cleaning things requiring bending into the dash area and straightening in the wrong spot! However, I also have to admit that I am not very tall.

Dirk here's another thought for you. We were visiting with Joe & Sue Keenan a week or so ago and telling them we didn't want BluRay, but wanted an upscaling DVD since we have around 350 regular DVDs on board. The next day Joe sent me a link to one and I found it a bit cheaper at Amazon. Here's a link <http://www.amazon.com/Sony-BRAVIA-DA...p/B001UDGQ7W>. We have ordered and are picking up in Nappanee next week.

We don't have use for the speakers, but then again, Don said he may use one or 2 of them for the CB (currently using the old radio speakers and darn it, they are still crap) then we will give the others away.

I know you will enjoy the TV as much as we have.
