I have a 97 Mountain Aire, DP with a single slide and I am having an electrical problem.

We are currently evacuated from hurricane IKE in the madp (so we should be safe). But I am having a small problem with the 120 volt AC electrical outlets. Specifically, the three outlets that are on the slide out, the one that is behind the passenger front seat and the one behind the sink (in the garage) are not working. I have checked the 120 v ac brakers (cabinet over the head of the bed) and that is not the problem. Some of these outlets state that they are GFCI outlets. I only know of two GFCIs in the RV; one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen next to the microwave/stove on the bottom of the upper cabinet. I have checked both of these GFCIs, tripped them and reset them – they both have power.
My problem may be that one of the GFCI is bad (the section of it that the other outlets hook up to).
Could you check your outlets and see if one of these GFCIs supplies the power my outlets that are not working.

If you have any other ideas, please let me know.

I appreciate the help.

Glen

Check your OUTSIDE or Storage Bay outlets.. one of those should also be a GFI.

I think the outside and possibly the basement duplex outlets are GFI protected on the same cicuit as the bathroom. I'm thinking possibly a loose or broken wire. This could happen over the years by slow chafing, mechanical interference or chewing rodents.
I guess you already checked all AC breakers.
