'98 Mountain Aire Elec Window trouble
While moving our coach the other day (98 Newmar Mountain Aire) I smelled a burning wire very breifly. Now my rear camera and drivers side electric window do not work. I cannot find anything under the dash or on any fuse panel to trace this or any signs of trouble... HELP anyone else ran into this?

Looking in this Owners Guide did not see anything for your fuse to those items.
The only wiring and fuse diagrams we have are for 2006-07 which may show you panel locations possibly for your coach.
I would look on your fire wall for a fuse panel unless you have a panel under dash board.
Burnt wiring could be from water getting down into window channel of door and water not draining out from bottom of door, holes are plugged up.
In QT's # 3 there is a section having to do with water in doors problems.

MA Fuse Locations
Our '97 MACA has a fuse block under the dash but most of those are chassis fuses. Most utility fuses are located under a panel on top of the dash that is velcro'd shut on 4 corners. I didn't know this fuse block existed for quite some time because it was covered by a dash mat. Camera fuse may be located here.
There are also engine fuses under the hood and another
Fuse block located On the bed pedestal.

A friend of mine with a 2000 DS lost his wipers. With the help of another IRV2 member we found it in the generator compartment. The fuses were VERY poorly identified so yours may be also.
Open the front hood and look for two fuse panels that have plexiglass covers.
Here's the link to the picture of the fuse panel.

Lastly, you might want to pull the plastic panel below your window. It's possible the wires got caught in the electric window mechanism???
Hope this helps!

Mark, he list's his coach as a 40' coach maybe a MADP.
Some day maybe if you could take some pictures of your fuse locations would make some what easier for older Newmar coach owners.
I use to have a MACA and can not remember where the fuses were located, my 03 has the panel on dash but its on a Workhorse chassis I do not think they would be the same.

Yeah, I have a huge panel in the Gen compartment full of Breakers, guess I need to check each one and see whats tripped and hasnt reset. I dont see a panel under the dash, funny it would have took the rear factory camera and the elec window both out. This rig doesnt have that many miles on it

Yeah Workhouse is mainly a gas chassis and mine is a Spartan fire truck chassis from Freightliner.

Under the dash cover (behind the steering wheel). It's this breaker and controls the power window and backup camera power. Ours was loose so with contacts cleaned and reinserted all is well. Your mileage may vary.

It turns out it's a burnt trace or bad relay. But mine is soldered in place. So I'll have to pull that board. I rigged a jumper across to an empty fuse socket and it all came back up. Do doing that just to move it around.
