99 Dutch Star water heater fuse ?

Have a 99 Dutch star and have been working through issue's with the water heater but in the process seem to have blown the 12V fuse I think.
No power to the switch inside but cannot find any blown fuses or any marked water heater.?
Called Newmar and were not really any help. Have any of you guys run across this fuse ?
I checked the ones under hood, under dash, over bed, and fuse box's in rear compartment.
thanks Gord

Hi GBRG07,
After checking the main 12V fuse buss there is another 12V fuse buss in the shore cord basement bay. It is behind a black panel on the back wall. The black panel is Velcroed in place, pull to remove. This may be different on a 99 coach. I know Newmar use this location for many years. On all fuses, forget the label, check each fuse.

It's a Suburban water heater. Not sure on model.

The fuses in the shore cord bay were all ok as well.

Did you look at them.....or did you pull them and test that they were good?

DC Power would come from a 'fused' circuit to ON/OFF switch (fro propane) to 'junction box' on backside/side of water heater tank.

Red wire........DC to set of T-stats then to 'control module' (also on backside of water heater)
Brown wire from module to gas valve solenoids then to Ground

Blue wire from module to junction box.....power for light in On/Off switch

Yellow and Green ...grounds

Check red wiring under t-stat cover......rolled edge of area punched out for t-stats is sharp and can chaff insulation on red wire.........short

Checked with test light.

The issue I am having is no 12 volts to switch inside coach.
If I apply 12 to wire going to unit I get the 12 volts at the thermostat.
The switch inside has 4 wires one for light ground.
One for power to light from control module.
One for power to heater red wire.
And the problem one, brown with black tracer. No power.
I replaced the 120 volt thermostat that had a burnt wire connector and think I must have shorted 12v circuit when I was stripping wire in that tight area.

The switch inside has 4 wires one for light ground. (That should be 'battery' negative)

One for power to light from control module. (That would be 'Blue' wire from module -----Blue from module to junction box for LIGHT power)

One for power to heater red wire. (That should go from switch to RED wire in junction box to t-stats)

Good luck finding that Feeder Fuse............

Sometimes it's like a Scavenger Hunt ----you know what's on the list just can't find the right place for it

I also have a 99 Dutch Star , and have found fuses in 10 different locations , 4 for the chassis and 6 for the coach .
Is your water heater switch above the entry door ?
Does you floor plan have the black plexi-glass cover for a fuse panel below the center of the dash ?
I'll check my coach to see if the fuse for the water heater was listed properly ,fuse for the basement lights was not.

EDIT : Well a quick look , and no fuse marked for " water heater " guess that's a system I'll have to track down.

Thanks very much for the replies guys.
Finally have both heater systems working properly.
Fuse is in rear panel above bed, it is marked fantastic vent/water heater.
Feeling a bit foolish now but happy its working.
In my defence the printing its very small and I can't see like I used to.
