ZACFRD,

Check your bypass valves to see if they are in the correct position and drain valves are shut. If you have an outside shower fawcet, close the valves.

My 99 DSDP has a pick-up tube for RV anti-freeze; if it's open the pump just sucks air. The tube and valve are at the front lower edge of the plumbing bay board.

Hi ZACFRD,

This is the same answer I provided for you in the Class A Section of iRV2. Consider posting a question in only one forum.

In the utility bay there is a lever (1/4 turn lever) that is turned one way to fill the water tank and the other way to allow shore water (or water pump tank water) to flow through the coach water lines. Make sure the lever is turned so shore water is not filling the tank.

Welcome ZACFRD to the Newmar forum & irv2.
If your trying to pump water from fresh water tank without city water line hooked up check the valves feed from the water tank and make sure they are all turned in pipe direction for flow.
They may have been turn in shut position when winterized..
Also check your hot water heater for the bypass shut off for summer use.
Information on hot water tank bypass.
Previous posts should be followed also.
