I have the A&E slideout cover on my slides. There is a metal cover that goes over and around the awning when it's rolled up. (When the slide is in) This metal cover appears to have slid forward about 6 inches and doesn't cover the whole awning now. The awning and roller and associated hardware all look like they're fine. This metal cover looks like it attahces to the roof drip rail and on a bead of the awning material. It looks almost like I could take a rubber mallet and just tap it back into place. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you correct it.

I have two stainless screws both ends of metal rap to stop the rap from sliding in its own awning rail, not the main rail at roof level.
You can tap metal rap with awning open, the rubber attachment should slide in rail.
There are two screws on both ends of awning also.
