I'm getting ready to wire my Progressive 50A surge protector. Instructions say that if the A/C has a built-in time delay to use the 15 second delay on the surge protector; otherwise, use the 136 second delay. Unfortunately, Newmar provided no information on the two A/Cs, other than the warranty sheets. They are Dometic 13,500BTU--does anyone know if they have a time delay?

There is a time delay but I still use the long delay. Gives me time to get back inside when everything gets started up. If you get a brown out it will recycle too quick.

Once the 120 AC gets through the surge protector, after a delay on its own, there maybe 2 minuets before the AC's will come back on than compressor will be the last to come on..
