Question A crappy subject. Grey/Black tank dump bay on a 2015 Ventana 4037

Is it just mine or are the dump pipe and the hole for the sewer hose not aligned correctly? I turn it down, yet it will not go straight down the middle of the hole. Anyone else have this issue?

Two coaches with dump pipe over the hose access hole. Both coaches aligned and not a problem. Has there been any rework done?

Don't you need a 90 elbow to go down through the hole?

The 90 degree should resolve the issue. It works perfect on our 2015 Ventana 4002.

Yep the 90 degree elbow, at least the one Newmar sells, lines up to the bottom hole in a Ventana perfectly. Not sure why they don't just supply one.

Mark and Louene Hetrick
Newbee the last 3725, dumping well with the 90 degree elbow.

Signor.... several have had this problem. I did on my 02 DS. I tried a few 45* and 90* clear elbows from different manufacturers before I came upon a 45 That fits just right. You'll probably wind up doing something similar. Some manufacturer's connectors are more hefty than others, so they all won't fit perfectly. Also, a clear piece is a good idea so you can monitor the outflow.

I have a 2014 Ventana 4037 and I've tried a variety of 45 and 90 elbows and none of them have lined up well. They do work, but the one I'm currently using comes very close to the outer edge of the ring. We bought the rig new - no work done on the bay. Although it doesn't go through the center of the ring, it does work.

The clear 90 we use lines up perfectly in the center of the hole. Not sure of the brand but it's nothing special for sure.

We have a clear 90 degree elbow on our and it has a bit of give to make alignment easier. Sorry but I don't know the name of mine.
