A Free 15 HP!

I recently just had some work done on my 2000 Kountry Star radiator at Cummins. To learn about the engine, they ran the serial number.

Newmar says I have an ISB-260. According to the Cummins database, I have an ISB-275.

Have any of you seen this type of discrepancy before?

i'll tell you what, however… I'm plenty happy to have the stronger the two engines!

If you have a 5 speed transmission. Your Ft lb Torque is probably 600
If you have a 6 speed Torque is 660 Ft lb no matter what the HP is.

There's no way I have the six speed. I think my engine is rated at 550 pounds of torque off the top of my head.

I just thought it was odd that Newmar and Cummins seem to disagree about what engine is actually in my coach and was wondering if anybody else had that same issue.
