To continue this gray morning if it becomes necessary to pull the batteries you need to do some homework and take pictures of position of batteries as to plus and minus posts on batteries, mark & tag all cables on their posts and carefully remove them.
If you or anyone else says no problem than you may wind up in this situation and just have a confusing experience.
Previous poster Mark is correct not knowing how far your coach is from nearest power outlet you need as heavy a cord as possible to feed the power to your battery charger because of voltage drop.
We are going to try and get your batteries charged before working ourselves into battery removal thats the easiest route to follow right now.
Not sure how cold its been where you are, GA., hope not to much freezing weather.
I HAVE ADDED THIS THREAD TO QT'S # 3 these problems come up to often. Have your popcorn ready.

We haven't even tried anything yet. Between dealing with my husbands surgery and PT and Christmas and a lot of visiting family, I haven't had time for any of the suggestions. Someone suggested that since we have Coach Net they might come out and jump it off. Once we do get it up and running, we need to figure out what caused the drain so it hopefully won't happen again.
Thanks for checking on us! I will post once we finally find a solution.

Just checking. Did you hold down the generator button to prime it ?
Or did you just hit the button ?

Good to hear from you some things can be a priority over others especially a sick husband.
We will be here when the time comes, have a Happy New Year and we will be talking in future.

We finally got our coach up and running yesterday. We found a great RV mechanic that came out and he found out that the battery charger was not working so he replace it, jump started the batteries and now it is working great. He also recommended we keep the charger plugged in all the time while it is parked at our house, and said if we do that we don't need to worry about a chassis disconnect switch.
Thanks to everyone for all the help!

Thats great EydieG you need to remember that RV Mechanic.
He is correct about batteries the BIRD System will keep all batteries maintained with your coach plugged in house outlet.
If the batteries are wet cell batteries you will need to check the water levels once a month.
Just read the post if you have electrician put in a 50 amp outlet you do not need burnt out electronics.
Enjoy your Newmar and safe travels, I hope your husband is ready to go no health problems.
