A pleasant surprise after the sale

We bought our 2003 DSDP a couple of weeks ago. Last week we got a call from our dealer, North Trail in Fort Myers, telling us that the previous owner had ordered new windshields and had prepaid for them and the installation charges. This sounded odd to us, because we had not noticed any issues with the ones on the coach. After looking more closely, we found several small chips, so we drove the coach to Ft. Myers on Saturday. Got there at 11, were on our way by 1:30. Windshields look fantastic! So grateful for our not-so-little surprise and the great service and professionalism of our dealer!

There may have been an outstanding insurance claim against the rock-dinged windshield. In Florida, windshield damage is 100% covered by insurance comprehensive, parts and labor, no deductible. And that applies to RVs as well as cars.
