I know there are many motor home owners that enjoy motor biking and bring their ride with them. There are a group at RiverBend that enjoy a group run twice a week, Sunday, and I believe Wednesday. One must realize that a certain risk goes with this hobby and one must excercise every precaution and safety when operating these machines on the road.
Sadly, and tragically, I got word that a couple of fellow RiverBend people that are directly accross the lake from my site were killed yesterday while riding. This certainly sheds a cold light on the dangers of this activity. If you ride, be extremely careful. If you are getting past the safe age of handling a heavy bike, hang it up.
The deepest sympathies to there family and friends.

Peter

Just an added word to this sad event. These people were experienced riders, aged 56 and 51, Ronnie and Robyn Wright. Afternoon, slow drive home with another couple from RiverBend ahead. Quiet highway just south of LaBelle. Struck unexpected from an SUV. No skill or experience, may have helped.
Such enjoyments comes with a risk. It seems unfair, so unfair.
Be safe.
