ABS fault light on

I started my coach to let it run a little. While it was idling, I did a general once over. Just something I do when it sits between trips. I heard an alarm and went to see what it was. The ABS fault light was on. I haven't read the manual to if it would offer a solution. Has anyone had this happen? Jay

To be of any help with your question , members are going to need more info about your coach .

Year , chassis manufacturer , air brakes etc. We're not there beside you so you have to tell us everything.

My coach has ABS warning light, but there is no warning buzzer to that system , so I'm thinking you may have two problems.

Yes. On my last coach. A 2012 ventana LE. Happened when it had been sitting for a month. Drove it around the storage lot and it went away. Which was what freightliner told me to do.

His IRV2 profile says his coach is a 2004 Kountry Star DP.

More information for you to digest!

2008 Newmar Kountry Star 3916
400HP Cummins DP, Allison trans.
Spartan chassis w/air brakes

I didn't drive it after I saw the fault. If I get a chance to go to the storage facility, I will take it for a drive.

Thanks, Jay

If it continues, check the fuse panels outside under the driver's seat. There is a relay there that is related to the air brakes. I was having the same problem, took it to a Spartan authorized shop. After about $4,000 of labor hours they checked the relay which fixed the problem. I had previously taken it to a Newmar dealer and they told me there was no problem, that only cost $500. I would call and work with the Spartan Customer Service for other suggestions, much cheaper.
