ABS light

Just recently I am seeing the ABS light come on and stay on after I start the coach...stays on until I stop for fuel or what ever...goes out most times on the next start up and stays out. Issue or glitch?

I'd be checking for poor connections at the wheel , speed sensors.
Control module runs a check on the sensors every start up, and leaves the light on ;if the sensors don't pass their tests; after the RV is moved the connection has changed enough to pass the check.

I'd say you're best bet may be a loose wire. I wouldn't worry about it too much, my ABS light has been on for a few months, so I called Spartan. They explained the system to me and assured me all the brakes will work just that the wheel that has the bad sensor won't have ABS. They went on to say that it's probably the least used system in a MH. I'm going to drive mine until the next service.

I'll be under the bus this weekend running a new control wire form the inverter to the panel, I will check the wires at the wheels then.

Have a shop scan the brake control module, it should have stored a history code that will help with your diagnosis.
