AC problem with a Baystar

I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I have a 32' Baystar with two roof AC units controled by one digital thermostat. When I have the Generator on, the rear unit works fine and its settings are clearly displayed on the themostat in zone 2. When I look at zone 1 to try and turn on the front AC unit there is no display. The AC on the front does not turn on no matter what I try to do. The digital read out does tell me I am in Zone 1 but I can not see anything else. Has anyone had this kind of problem before. The unit is a 2007 and this is its first major malfunction. I guess I am trying to figure out if this is something I can locate and fix with a multimeter and a very limited knowledge of electronics or is this soemthing to bring back to the dealer. Options #2 is a very long drive.

Dennis when your plugged into shore power will your front AC work?
Did you check your load center to see if front AC circuit breaker is not tripped because it may have been on when Gen was transfered from shore power.
When you switch to AC, EITHER ONE, WILL TAKE 2 MIN before AC will come on.
