Acceptable Tire Dates

Buying Michelin tires for my RV and I would like to know if there is an acceptable date for tires. Don't want tires that have been on dealer's shelf too long.

I just bought 2 295/80R22.5 XZA2 Energy with dates of 1016. Which is about right. If there is a recall, it should have shown up by now.

Anything older than 6 mos and I pass.
RV tires are too dang expensive and age out vs wear out so I won't buy 'old' tires

Don't get them from a dealer that has them in stock. For my previous coach they had to order them and when they arrived they were less than 3 months old.
