Obviously, this might not apply to all coaches, but here's an FYI.

My 09 Ventana has a flat Samsung front TV. If you need to access the wires to the TV, just get a wide putty knife to remove the vent on the driver's side behind the TV.

I was fiddling with the wires before my trip to Disneyworld so that I could have the kids use headphones while watching movies. I ran out of time and wasn't able to get that working.

Anyway, in the process, I caused some wires to be loose, and the picture would go in an out while driving down the road. I bought a putty knife, and removed that panel.

Despite checking a couple of times, it turns out the loose wire was not on the TV, but in the distribution box on top of the Jamo DVD/Home Theater.

Now that I have access to the back of the TV, I can run HDMI cables if I want instead of component.

I'd love to find a Home Theater in a Box (HTIB) unit like the Jamo that can handle Blu Ray discs since that's what we usually buy for the kids. Some Disney Blu Ray packages come with a regular DVD.

The ones I've seen are much thicker than the Jamo. Plus, the Jamo speaker wires are bare, and not RCA plugs like most HTIB receivers use. I'm sure I could splice an RCA jack on to the wires, but would prefer not to do that.

I wish Newmar would have used HDMI instead of component wiring. One wire is much cleaner than 3 video and 2 audio wires.
