We have never used our dishwasher in our 2013 Ventana 4369 - I store all plates and bowls in it. My DH cannot hear any clinking of glass. We love to cook, never cook inside the coach and very seldom eat on paper plates. I guess we don't mind washing and drying 2 plates and forks when we dine.

I have a dishwasher and an automatic ice maker. Shes about 5 foot 4.

She rejected the idea of these and other such things. :-)

Eventually you have to clean the stuff you cook the food with.

I'm sorry johnboy99, I didn't say that I washed paper plates, what I said was that we seldom eat on paper plates and I assumed you would know that when we do eat on paper plates, we throw the disposable plates away.

And Kurtsara, I took your cooking skills for granted as well - We plan our meals to have very little items to wash - so when I said we don't mind washing and drying 2 plates and forks - I did not add serving bowls etc.

Sorry for taking both of your kitchen skills for granted.

They don't make em like they used to. After about three washings you have to throw those paper plates away.

We have a DW in our coach, the only thing we use it for is storing dishes. I was using it to store chips and cookies but one of my grandsons pushed the button and wet all the bags so I changed to storing dishes and put food in cabinets. I do like the extra storage but to much trouble to wash dishes, I guess it would be ok if we had a party and had enough dishes dirty at one time to run it.

We have a 2009 Dutch Aire which come with a dishwasher, attached is a picture which illustrates the best possible use for our needs. Since we never used the DW, we redeemed the space to make our storage problem more manageable. We found when we are on the road we stored the dirty dishes in the DW until we had enough dirty dishes to justify running the DW.

Dishwasher

For some reason the photo did not post. Maybe this time but I will say we used it for chips and cookies first until grandson turned it on one day.
