Hi! I hope I don't get in trouble for copying this off the Newmars owner forum on Yahoo. It is a very interesting subject:
HWH has a new electronic air ride suspension out. called Active Air.
I called and talked to them and they sent brochures.
basically they put electronic height control sensors on front and rear air
bags and
get rid of the mechanical stuff. they put about four brain boxes on your
system and
they put a new key pad system up where the jacks are at. now, what it does,
it
senses the road conditions and sends the air to whichever air bag needs the
most
air. price is about $5500.00.
it would make, the way they explained, make your coach ride like a Prevost.
phone no. 1-800-321 2494.
if creek dont rise and diesel fuel dont get much higher, I will have it put
on my coach if
don't trade this year.
in addition and regardless of what some rv dealers say, next thing I'll have
added
is comfort drive. put on by Spartan. not at the prices rv dealers quote.
yes, i may have to
put a new front suspension under my coach, but it will be worth it. Already
talked to
Spartan. (may not have to change front suspension, they have to see it)
I'd rather spend $5000 here and there and upgrade coach than go to dealers
that don't
want to allow what it's worth and want full book for theirs. Got stuff on
this one already
that wasn't available on it, so, will just have more.

JimB

Hope this was a help. Any comments on how this would work in our coach? Paul

Paul, Sounds like Hadley Level Control. It is standard on '07 up Essex and the other one, London Aire? (sounds like a new upstart airline out of the U.K.)
It works similar to your description, check it out online under Hadley Leveling. It can definately be retro fit to your coach.

Hi! I stole the whole write up from Newmar Yahoo Group. I thought it sounded like what is in the Essex. Paul

Hey Bob, I thought that might get you out here. That's just brand separation again rearing it's ugly head. I'm going by that old age theme, "If you don't have one or can't afford one, trash it."
Life is good!

Life is indeed GOOD Peter and Paul.....where's Mary by the way??

I love you guys and realize I set myself up for most of the jabs I receive and I dearly LOVE receiving them....

I'm looking forward to spending the entire season on the Gulf Coast next year and with all the iRV2 friends I've made there, it'll be a hoot for sure!!

Maybe if Peter doesn't buy the mega yacht we can move he and Cherry toward an LADB....
Newmar is coming out with a floorplan very similar to the 4502 for the mid-door LADB.

I know Peter.....I'm just kidding!!

From the number of trips Peter and Cherry made to the east coast of Florida and boat dealers there, I will bet they will have a grand boat by next year. Happy hour will be held on the deck of some magnificent ship longer than their Essex next year!

You're on Paul! What am I doing in a Walmart in Missouri? I kind of hoped it would be the name of a great boat, (Missouri, not Walmart) but, no, I'm in a frickin Walmart parking lot. Eat your hearts out, we'll be in Branson by mid afternoon.

Peter
