Well, after all you'alls trouble and several trips up/down the ladder I finally found the adjustment screws. The picture in the Manual I downloaded on page 28 figure 16 really helped for me to know exactly what I should be looking for, and which end of the awning to be looking at. My main problem was that I kept pictureing the tech working on it right by the enter door, and even though I was told above here that the motor was on the "left" end of the awning I still kept looking at what I thought was the correct end of the awning. Ends up the "right" end of the awning is really at the rear of the (which is what the Manual called the end where the motor is), not the front end. Figured it depends on how you're looking at the awning which end is the "right" or the "left" end.
Got the door awning to fit up tighter using the same method but will have to wait on the Girard awning until I have a need to run in the bedroom to get that room awning out of my way.
