Adjustment of drop down basement doors

I have a 2017 DSDP that has the basement doors on the FWS that drop down when you open them and go up when you close them. I was told from the beginning to keep silicone spray handy to spray on the mechanism that makes this happen. I have done that but one door needs adjustment because it sticks half way through opening and closing always. What is the procedure for adjusting that threaded rod and nuts?

I had the same thing happening and I added a washer to the bolt that functions as the sliding mechanism that raises and lowers the door. This keeps the slider from getting in a bind. Hope this is the solution to your issue.

+1. Same here. Also, adjust the bolt and nut so there's not a lot of slop. That's what causes it to bind in the slot. I was told to use vaseline.
