Replaced our wet batteries(6) with Lifeline AGMs. We have a 2014 Ventana 4036, no more acid problems. Give Mark a call, he's a good guy! Had ours waiting for us at Anceria RV in Boerne, Tx.

what kind of acid problems were u having? seems strange to me .
my Interstate 2200 wet cells have been in my ABDP for over 6 years and
other than adding some water every 6 months or so there 100% zero cable corrosion and never a acid problem(whatever that is)

Never leave AGM batteries in bulk mode. 3-4 hours tops if at all. Bulk mode will cause overheating and you cant replace electrolyte in AGM batteries.

The correct long term storage mode is float mode, a constant 13.8 VDC at @ 200 mA or so.

Would think your 2017 coach would have a multi-stage inverter/charger. If you are connected to 30 amp shore power, no need to have inverter function turned on but your charger needs to be on. If the charger is on and functioning properly, it should do bulk charge, absorb charge, then go to float.

Also most of the inverter/charger software allows you to program the charging function to AGM vs flooded cell batteries.

I don't know whether you have an "All electric" or not, but the corrosion I experienced with my last coach, an Essex, was terrible after a couple of years. And I did not boondock hardly at all. I even used the oil topping but it was still bad. I switched to AGM, and life was good.

I would never go back to wet cells in any mobile house bank application.

AGM's are good. LiFe is better, not for your wallet, but for everything else.

Good ones last so long, you can just move them between coaches.

Thanks everyone - we do have an all electric coach, very seldom boondock and have a lot of corrosion. We will change to AGM on our annual trip to Nappanee.

then u have bad batterys or your overfilling them and or your converter is over charging
mine after six years have ZERO corrosion.. people tend to constantly overfill their batterys and that leads to corrosion
I have never ever had a corrosion problem in any of my 3 diesel pushers over a 12 year period

While I love my AGM's and will likely not go back to flooded cell, I had flooded cell batteries on my previous coach for 8 years and had no issue with corrosion in the battery compartment. I used a Quick Fill battery watering system.

I did have some rust on one of the battery trays but that was more related to the poor job of metal prep and painting done by the manufacturer.
