AGS-Precision circuits power control Question/Issue?

On 30 amp service with 2 ACís and a few other things running, and Iím pulling 28-30 amps. Just had the AGS kick on (signal from thermostat Ďenabledí) and suspected I blew the breaker, but turns out no. Checked the power control unit, and the front, middle and rear ACís show last cut outs at 1, 1, and 2 amps respectively (donít know why the middle would show anything as it was off). Now iím suspecting a momentary brown or black out, but this still doesnít totally add up. What do others think? Is there a signal from the power control unit when amps exceed the pedestal max to kick in the genset before blowing the breaker?

Do you have any codes showing on he EMS? It sounds like the EMS encountered a problem and shut down the power to the coach, causing the AGS to kick in. Has it reset?

Was incorrect in my title. I was referring to the Precision Circuits Power Control module (not a Progressive surge protector). No errors that I noted. Still donít have a good explanation other than a signal from the thermostat that the precision circuits device couldnít satisfy and therefore the AGS kicked in. That or the coach is haunted.

Progressive will use a inverter assist when on 30 amp. If you have your ags on, and set to a voltage start point, you probably exceeded that set point.

It is actually working as intended. The only thing you could do better is install the BMK and use a soc set point instead.

When 30 amp glamping, I usually run the 2 acs and allow be generator to supplement. It will usually run twice during the day for about an hour, with my setpoint at 80% soc.

I do enable the quiet time setting when I have neighbors, which is most of the time.

All those acronyms soc, bmk. Have used a dog bone when we where at a 30 amp camp site, set to one AC and 30 amp input via silverleaf, Also on Oasis tab chose burner due to amperage limitations. Did not know we could set AGS to kick in from low voltage...

Soc = state of charge. Think of it as a fuel gauge for your battery. Reads from 0 to 100%. Much more reliable and accurate than the standard voltage readings.

Bmk = battery monitor kit. This is the add on that gives you soc.

Your London aire will have an ags setting for all the features I described, but I don't have a silverleaf system, so I cant help with that.

Basic management as you describe is handled automatically by the ems, except for turning on the burner.

I am sure that the la has inverter assist, but someone with actual knowledge will have to confirm.

Inverter assist makes sense because I was close on amperage, but I didnít have the AGS set to voltage. It was set to turn on at the signal of the dometic thermostat. Two ACís were already running, so Iím not sure what happened.
