My Newmar Mountain Air air conditioning and heat pump vents are all turning yellow. Does any know about anything I could do to stop this or correct this. Thanks

I use to use one of the spray cleaners like Fantastic I think might take it off a little, but it doesn't last long. I would try using either that new spray paint they make for plastic and spray paint them, or there's a automotive spray they use that if more like a die then paint. I think it's called Sem. Not sure of spelling. I resprayed the interior of a truck we have and it came out great. It was white too.

Try Bleche White, a spray available at Wal Mart. It solves a lot of problems.

Remove one of the vents and try washing it with a good cleaner. If you smoke in your coach the yellowing can build up and should be easy to clean up. If it's just discolored from normal interior air circulation a quick scrub should work. If they are the round vents that can be rotated, just pull them off. They are held by a plug-in center stud.

Try washing them, but the plastic is probably discolored. Try the specialty plastic paints such as Fusion. I have painted a few plastic parts and it does great.

My vents are discoloring too. Where would I find the Fusion paint?

I've seen the Fusion paint at my local hardware store. I would imagine that Home Depot or Lowes would have it as well.

jayhade,
You might want to update your public profile. It now shows you own an '04 Fleetwood Storm. I was looking to see what year Newmar you had.
I have had to replace several louvered vents. Any Newmar dealer will order new ones for you. They are inexpensiv-- Like $5 each. Mine had broken while cleaning the small foam air filters. You can also spray paint them easily. Any Lowes or hardware store will have spray paint for plastic furniture. Wash them good with 409, or such, let them dry and paint 'em.
If you order new ones they come in several colors like white or off white.
Good luck (we're glad your a Newmar owner now - )
