Air in the door

Sorry but I am new to Newmar.

Is there an air line or vacuum line running to the door in my Essex? There is a line going to the door just below the lowest hing that has broken or been cut. There are no wires in the hose so I am thinking it is not electrical but maybe vacuum.

Any ideas?

I don't know about your Essex but our 08 DS has an air operated latch on the top front of the door . Look at your door when open for latch arm on the front
toward top. The latch makes a very loud clack when parking brake is set or released.
