We are new owners of an Allstar. On a recent trip my wife commented that we were getting more outside air noise at the front door. Next stop I made sure it was closed properly but we still had the noise.
We took it in for some other warranty work and asked about the air noise. The service tech looked up near the top of the door while it was full open on the hinge side and said our air lock arm was broken. I said the "what" is broken?
He said this lock activates when air pressure comes up on the coach and that you should not exit and enter the coach while air pressure is up or you will break this lock and you will have air noise. This was never pointed out to us in our orientation so we had no idea.
Are we the only dummies?
How do you keep this from happening? It seems awfully inconvenient to turn off the engine every time you want to exit and re-enter the coach.

a k is correct.
Only open the door when the parking brake is ON. The engine doen not have be shut off.
.....and no, you are not the only one that the dealer fails to notify of this issue.
