Air nozzle connection on Dutch Stars
Another thing I forgot to ask the Newmar salesman was if the new Dutch Stars had an air chuck where an air hose can be connected to use the coach's air system to add air to the coach tires. My current Itasca has it right under the front hood just above the generator and the coach even came standard with a 30 ft air hose. Has really be great since I don't have that heavy an air compressor at home.

Well that's certainly one more item I can cross off my list of "is it really there and how does it work". Thanks.

If you're going to need more than 100 psi don't assume the chassis system will do the job conveniently. There are lots of threads on the forum discussing this very issue.

There are a number of previous discussion on the subject of using this connection to air up tires. Everybody has their opinion.
When you locate the quick coupler, check to make sure the Male Connector is tied to it. It's there in case the tow trucker drivers hose does not match yours so he can air up the brake release to facilitate a tow should the occasion arise.

Anyone know what size that male fitting is on a 2014 Ventana ? There are 2 different diameters and 2 or 3 different end configurations.
Thanks !

Anyone know size of air chuck on 2010 Dutch Aire? 1/4 or 3/8?

As others have noted, the air chuck is there. It's mainly meant for use if the coach is being towed.
Of course it also works for tire inflation, but you may be disappointed when trying to inflate your front tires much beyond 100-115.
I'd suggest you get this. It's designed for large RVs, is very fast and quite portable. Way better experience.

With all the discussion of axle weights of late, I hope more people are inspired to regularly check and adjust their tire pressures.

I've read the posts and would still like to have a hose for an emergency or to use on car tire, etc. -- so what size male fitting do I need for the female fitting Newmar puts on coach is my question.

I believe what you are looking for is a 1/4" NPT "M" fitting. If you don't have one now, I suggest tieing one near the female in case the tow truck doesn't have one.

Review CAPUTECH above recommendation; I have the Viair 400 for RV's as well. Could not be more pleased. The under the front hood valve can work depending on Coach. While you are working the on coach valve, I am done drinking a cold one looking for the next project. The Viair can take care of all your vehicle needs to include recovering a friend that needs air as well, just meaning very mobile.
Good luck.
