My front air pressure psi gauge keeps going wacko. As I am driving down the road the pressure goes from normal to 0 and then back to normal. Sometimes it will stay at 0 for awhile. I have stopped and checked the front and my pressure is not going down. I do not here anything leaking and I am not sure what type of electrical things I could check. I called a spartan service place here in San Antonio and they stated it was probably electrical. The alarm sounding off as I go down the road scares me so I would like to know if anyone else is having this problem and if its a fix I can do or do I need to go into the shop.

Thanks
Cathy

This may be a stupid question but what is a TPMS? Charlie how did you know there was a recall on this item, and do you know who I would call to find out if mine is the same problem as yours?

A TPMS is a Tire Pressure Management System. GaryKD must have misunderstood and thought you were talking about tire pressure.

Romeo is correct, my bad. To find the recalls on your coach, go to NEWMAR Recall ID: 1207 - Vehicle Information for NEWMAR and do a search. You can also try All Vehicle Makes Auto Recalls - Justia Car & Truck Recalls and do a search. Also, on Monday, consider calling Newmar at 800-731-8300 and ask them. Have your coach number when you call.

Cathy & Paula,

There is a link I have included below which you may want to become familiar with. Click on the link at the bottom of the text. This will open a window which will allow you to explore all of the TSB's and other information about Newmar Motorhomes. You can even enter your Newmar coach specific number in the space provided to find out information about your coach.

It has a lot of stuff you don't need to know and a lot of stuff you might want to know.

Newmar Motorhome & RV Parts Lookup | Newmar Corporation

Enjoyed looking in on your blog.

I have been down the same road. You will find much info if you do a search at this site for "air gauge malfunction". I replaced the air sensor that I was able to get from Spartan that solved the problem. There are two located under the front hood located on the firewall.

I think she is talking air tank pressure and not tire pressure. I had the same problem with the tank air pressure. Mine turned out to be a defective sensor. Easy fix at Cummins. There are two sensors, mine are located in the front generator compartment. Cummins can help you.
