In the front cap of my DS there is a air chuck. My question is: How much air pressure will the coach produce? If I have a 50' air hose with me can the coach build up enough pressure to air up a tire to say 120#?

VACMAN...I just installed a 50' air hose in the air manifold on the front of my '04 KSDP. I get a max reading of about 120psi. I haven't tried it on the coach tires yet but, will try it before weeks end. I only run 80-85psi in the rears and 90-95 in the front based on the coach weight

I use the coach air for all of my tires. You should have a reason to air your tires to 120#.

Nathan, I have not had an occasion to load my coach to max so I could have the axles weighted. So at this point for short runs (20 Miles) I use the placaird beside the drivers seat posted by Newmar: Front 120 #.. Dual 85 #... Tag 75 #. My tires are Michelin 305.. Also while I am on the subject, most of the charts say that after a tire heats up, the pressure can raise as much as 10 to 15%. So if I air a tire to 120# cold, and after running it raises to 138 #, would this be way over inflated? Your thoughts appreciated...VACMAN

I made a key typo. You should NOT have a need to go as high as 120#. All references to air pressure are at COLD readings before you drive on them. You are correct that as you run on the tires they will increase internal pressure.
If you are looking for optimum performance, you should get to a truck stop and get on the scales. You will not get end weights but it will get you close enough to get pressures in range.

My '06 essex calls for 125lb front air COLD.runs up to 140 hot with air 132 with nitrogen. Thats normal. Look behind the front seat on wall for pressure settings

max available pressure at the chuck is usually the max pressure you show on guages..and then figure about 5# less as usable..need a reasonable pressure differential tween the chuck and tire or else it just equalizes..so once you weigh coach and check charts you will probably be able to use it to fill tires..
