Question amp hours in stock Canyon Star house batteries?

Hi,
If you have a Canyon Star with the stock/standard 12V batteries, would you mind sharing what the amp hours are for those batteries? Or, what the make and model of the batteries are? then I can look up the amp hours on the mfg's web site. I want to compare what AH we have versus what's offered stock.

I'm asking because on our CS 3920 we ordered the optional 10cu residential fridge which is described as coming with its own inverter and two extra batteries. We also optioned 6v and AGM batteries.

What we received was a total of four 6v AGM batteries for the house and fridge. (Chassis battery is separate and not included in this discussion.)

What we had expected was eight 6v AGM batteries, since in our experience when we had upgraded the batteries in previous RVs from 12v to 6v, we had doubled the number of batteries and run them in series parallel. We had always done the upgrade after purchase however since we've never ordered an RV custom built before now.

The individual battery spec gives 222 AH @ 100HR. Because the four batteries are wired in series parallel (as we expected), the total battery capacity is 444 AH.

Knowing what AH are provided stock will give me a better idea if our setup is better or worse and what I might want to do about that.

thanks much for your time!

cheers

Our 2008 came with two Interstate SRM-24 Group 24 batteries. Looks like the rating is 84 A/H.

Welcome to the forum and irv2.
Congratulations on your Newmar many safe miles for you.
Here is a link to 12v battery systems and 12v wiring system in your Newmar.
In my signature there are three links that have other info related to your Newmar.
I had two 6v wet cells when I purchased the coach after four years of dealing with the wet I removed them and purchased at Sam's two 12v AGM's and do not regret it.
We have been able to dry camp in the dead of winter staying in Cracker Barrel lots on way to FL. and back.
Most residential refrigerators put in by Newmar have a dedicated inverter and a battery bank just for the fridge separate from the house battery system.
I'll let others with CS coach give you a answer mean while enjoy the forum.

Luv2go, thanks for replying! So you have 168 AH without an all-electric fridge. This gives me a good benchmark.
